I write historical fiction for adults and teens.

It is an enormous pleasure to attempt to make history come alive with stories. For me, that means stories that explore the neglected corners of history, the people who you’ve never heard of, the small players in the big dramas.

My books are for both adults and teens, and they always feature female protagonists who are either historical (Anastasia’s Secret; The Académie) or fictional, based on the women and girls who lived and worked in those times and places.
